NEW! Request for Proposals - Electronic Document Management System

The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is soliciting responses from qualified and experienced firms who have experience in implementing Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS). The intent of this RFP process is to solicit pricing proposals that will establish through competitive negotiation a contract for EDMS to member communities of CRCOG’s IT Services Cooperative.

No oral interpretations shall be made to any respondent as to the meaning of any of the documents. Every request for an interpretation shall be made in writing, addressed and forwarded either to the address above, faxed to (860) 724-1274 or emailed to jfreund@crcog.org. To receive consideration, such questions must be received no later than 11:00 a.m. on April 22, 2016.

Sealed responses must be received no later than 11:00 a.m. on May 13, 2016. Responses should be delivered to the Capitol Region Council of Governments, located at 241 Main Street, 4th Floor, Hartford, CT 06106. Any responses received after this date and time will not be considered. Please see the RFP document for more information.

The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is seeking to obtain the services of a consulting firm to conduct a transportation planning/corridor study in the Route 5 Corridor in East Windsor. The consultant must have expertise in transportation planning, land use planning, traffic engineering, and access management. The consultant must also have a demonstrated ability to manage transportation studies which include a public involvement effort.

Statements of qualifications, marked “U.S. Route 5 Corridor Study”, must be received by CRCOG no later than 11 AM on Friday, April 22, 2016. Statements should be delivered to Ms. Jennifer Carrier, Director of Transportation Planning, Capitol Region Council of Governments, 241 Main St., Hartford, CT 06106. Responses received after this time will not be considered.

NEW! Request for Proposals: Study of Best Practices in Engaging Anchor Institutions and Neighborhoods to Build Corridors of Opportunity

The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) intends to hire a consulting firm to conduct a Study of Bet Practices in Engaging Anchor Institutions and Neighborhoods to Build Corridors of Opportunity. The consultant must have expertise in and knowledge of how anchor instutitions and neighborhoods have successfully worked together to increase economic activity and transit oriented development in bus rapid tgransit and rail corridors. The consultant must also have a demonstrated ability to manage a study that includes the involvement of a range of stakeholders representing anchor institutions and neighborhood interests.

Sealed proposals in accordance with the format prescribed in the RFP document will be received at CRCOG, 241 Main Street, 4th Floor, Hartford, CT 06106 until 3:00 p.m. EST, Monday, April 11, 2016. Please see the RFP document for more information.


Request for Proposals - CRCOG Human Resources Consulting Services

CRCOG seeks proposals from qualified and experienced Human Resources professionals (individuals or firms) to provide a range of consultant services in support of the agency's Human Resources Portal Demonstration Project. Longer term, the agency may also decide to use the hired consultant to support the development/expansion of a related suite of HR services for CRCOG's 38 member cities and towns and potentially other interested municipalities statewide.

It is CRCOGs intent to award a contract in the spring of 2016 to ensure that all project deliverables are completed and can be posted to the portal once it is launched later this year. Please see the Request for Proposals - CRCOG Human Resources Consulting Services (pdf) for more information.
