About the RFP
The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is inviting municipalities to submit proposals for Transportation Improvement Projects for funding under the Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program (LOTCIP) – 2018 Solicitation. At this time CRCOG is reserving $25.5 million from the following categories for this purpose: Reconstruction (roadway and bridge) projects, Bicycle/Pedestrian projects, Pavement Rehabilitation projects and Stand-Alone Sidewalk projects. Each municipality may submit materials for two (2) Project proposals in any combination with a maximum total award of no more than $3 million per municipality. If a municipality was awarded a bridge project under the 2017 LOTCIP bridge solicitation, the total cumulative award amount may not exceed $4.5 million per municipality. If bridge projects are submitted under this solicitation, they will compete with roadway reconstruction projects using reconstruction project criteria.
Submissions must be received by May 22, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Please see the 2018 LOTCIP Solicitation RFP for requirements.
To apply for LOTCIP funds, please complete a separate LOTCIP Application, Bicycle and Pedestrian Travel Needs Assessment Form, and Cost Estimate for each project, and return 2 hardcopies and 1 electronic copy by 3 PM on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 to:

Staff anticipates completing its review and ranking of the proposals in July, with CRCOG committee endorsements expected in September.
