Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a list of highway, bridge, transit, and multimodal transportation projects in the Region scheduled to receive federal funds over the next four years. It summarizes projects by location, funding source, cost, and year. The TIP is prepared every three years, but amended frequently.

A Draft TIP for FFY2025-2028, and the associated Air Quality Conformity Analysis (AQCA), is now available for public review and comment. The TIP and AQCA will be reviewed and endorsed by CRCOG’s Transportation Committee on 5/20/2024 and by CRCOG’s Policy Board on 5/22/2024.

Two public meetings were held on April 24, 2024 (11am and 7pm) in a hybrid format, with virtual and in-person attendance options.

State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP)
The State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) is also available for review. Hybrid public meetings on the STIP are scheduled for 5/15/2024 at 1pm and 7pm. Information on the document and opportunities to provide input are available on the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s website at www.ct.gov/dot/stip or by calling (860) 594-2040. State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP)
The State also prepares a composite listing of all projects in the State that are scheduled for funding over four years. This is called the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).
