CTDOT Active Transportation Microgrant Program

The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is inviting eligible applicants to submit applications for funding for an Active Transportation Microgrant Program.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) created the Active Transportation Microgrant to allow organizations such as municipalities, schools, and non-profits, the ability to apply for non-infrastructure related transportation funding. Eligible items include, but are not limited to, bikes, helmets and training classes. The funding is intended to improve safety, equity, accessibility, and sustainability amongst active and vulnerable road users.

Organizations have an opportunity to apply for a $5,000 grant, which does not require a match from the organization.

Funding is ongoing and will be made available until the $500,000 grant is expended.
