TIP Information (Polish)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”About” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%23008fe2″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is preparing its Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), a list of all transportation projects that will receive federal funds in the next 4 years (2018-2021), and the associated Air Quality Conformity Analysis (AQCA). CRCOG is accepting comments on these documents until July 21, 2017. Questions regarding these documents, or the meetings discussed below, may be directed to Tim Malone, Principal Planner at (860) 522-2217 or tmalone@crcog.org. The State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) will also be available for review during this period.

Physical copies of these draft documents are available at CRCOG’s Office (241 Main Street, Fourth Floor, Hartford, CT 06106).

These draft documents will be reviewed by CRCOG’s Transportation Committee on 6/26/2017. CRCOG’s Transportation Committee, acting as the Policy Board, will consider them for approval on 7/24/2017. Both of these meetings will begin at 12:00 noon. Opportunity for public comment will be provided at these meetings, and at an 11:30 a.m. Public Information Meeting on 6/26/2017. All of these meetings will take place at the MIRA Recycling Center, 211 Murphy Road, Hartford, CT. The building is handicapped accessible and located on a CTtransit bus line. Persons requiring auxiliary aids or translation services for participation in these meetings should contact Karen Stewartson at (860) 522-2217 at least five business days prior to the meeting. Written comments on the STIP and AQCA may be sent to Maribeth Wojenski, Transportation Assistant Planning Director, CTDOT, PO Box 317546, Newington, CT 06131-7546, until 7/31/2017.

With regard to proposed transit improvements, this notice of public involvement activities and time established for public review and comments on the TIP development process will satisfy the FTA’s Program of Projects (POP) requirements.
