INVITATION TO BID FOR INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

The Capitol Region Purchasing Council is putting out one (1) Indefinite Quantity Construction contracting bid for General Construction. The bid will have a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Monday, November 27, 2023, at the time indicated below. Bidders must have at least $1,000,000 in available bonding capacity to qualify for the award. A Plan holder List will be published as it is updated.

ezIQC® Construction

The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) invites sealed bids for one (1) ezIQC® (EZ Indefinite Quantity Construction) contract for use by Members of the Capitol Region Purchasing Council, a program of CRCOG.  This is an indefinite quantity, indefinite location construction contract for renovation, repair, and upgrade projects.  CRCOG is bidding the Northeast geographic region of Connecticut.  The contract has an estimated annual value of $1,000,000.  A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held in person or virtually on Monday, November 27, 2023, at the CRCOG Offices 3rd Floor Board Room, 241 Main Street, 3rd Floor, Hartford, CT 06106  at 10:00 a.m.  Please register for the virtual pre-bid meeting by using the link below.  Bid documents will be available via BidCentral at the pre-bid conference for those firms attending the pre-bid conference. Bidders must attend the pre-bid conference in order to obtain a set of bid documents.  Bidders must have at least $1,000,000 in available bonding capacity to qualify for award. Bids are due as follows:

All Proposers will be required to certify that they are not on the Comptroller General’s list of ineligible contractors. Further, the contractor will be required to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws and regulations.

This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including non-discrimination statutes and set-aside requirements.  State law requires a minimum of twenty-five (25%) percent of the state- funded portion of the contract be set aside for award to subcontractors holding current certification from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services.   The contractor must demonstrate good faith effort to meet the 25% set-aside goals. ALL BIDS WILL BE DUE ON 12/12/2023 @ 10:00 AM.
