The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is seeking the assistance of consulting firms to to apply best practices that were developed for engaging anchor institutions and government and community organizations in the CTfastrak, CTrail-Hartford Line and fastrakEast corridors, in order to help build mutually beneficial relationships that can spur TOD and economic growth in the Capitol Region.

The successful consultant will assist CRCOG with developing tools to communicate transit-oriented development opportunities to anchor institutions, analyzing and addressing barriers to transit-oriented development by identifying tools and resources to do so, and inventorying key anchor institutions and neighborhood organizations to introduce them to the findings of the best practices research conducted previously.
