We celebrated Trails Day, this past Saturday, April 27, it’s an annual spring celebration of American Trails. This event began in 2013 by the Rails to Trails Conservancy. Our Executive Director, Matt Hart, joined by a cohort of cyclists hit the Farmington Heritage Canal Trail and the Farmington River Trail.

In honor of Trails Day, we also issued a proclamation, signed by Mayor Erin Stewart, CRCOG’s Policy Board Chair honoring the Rails to Trails Conservancy’s Celebration. We’re proud to be a part of a day that brings national awareness and recognition to the benefits of cycling and promotes the use of multiuse trails nationwide.
