ActiveCT Vision Zero Webinar – “Step by Step, Lane by Lane”

This webinar, offered as part of our statewide “ActiveCT” efforts focuses on Vision Zero, the multidisciplinary policy framework to eliminate deaths and serious injuries on our streets and roadways. As pedestrian fatalities continue to surge across the country, and right here in Connecticut, this hour long session will look at how Vision Zero is being incorporated into local Connecticut communities; offer insight into how low-cost high-impact “Quick-Build” projects advance community safety goals, and describe how Jersey City used this method as a key pillar in achieving zero deaths on its local streets in 2022.
