2015 Route 5 Corridor Study Summary Report

Town of East Windsor Plan of Conservation and Development

CRCOG and the Town of East Windsor are studying traffic and land-use issues in the Route 5 corridor. The study area stretches from the South Windsor town line to the Enfield town line. The study builds upon a previous land-use study conducted by the town in 2015.

The purpose of the study is to:

  • Evaluate safety, congestion, and transit/bike/ped mobility
  • Assess travel demand growth for a multi-modal corridor to service the future land use vision and recommendations
